:cowboy: I was thinking that since I have already been helped by a member here that I was wondering if they could get some sort of an "award" posted under their name and avatar, that shows that they helped a member.

The kind people I am wanting to have recognized for their help to me are Chester and Mrs C. They were more than kind enough to get me and place an avatar for me to use.

The award I was thinking of could be a copy of the photo of that Congressional award that John Wayne recieved. I remember seeing it posted on this site somewhere.

PS, I think these should be for anyone who significantly helps another and that there is no limit of how many one can get. This unofficial "awarding" really does help on other sites I belong to.

One last thing, if someone presents an article or somehting they wrote for this site, they could too be more noticably recognized.

I thought about that and include this: When recommending someone for an "award" it has to be sent to Admin to approve, and it also has to haev an explanation of why someone is nominated. If Admin thinks it is a good enough reason, then he can give that person an "award." Also, wihe Admin being the only person to give such an "award" based solely on his approval.

Believe me, it really works and it also makes some who do not really participate....to participate even more.
