The Martyrs of The Alamo and
Heroes of The Alamo
two significant silent films dealing with the subject are now available.
Always wanted to see them. Especially since Martyrs was a big event film at its time, produced by D.W. Griffith, in 1915, when JOHN WAYNE was working at his local movie-house and watching as many films as he could - which could mean that the subject of The Alamo might have had influenced him.
