The Shahan family who owns Alamo Village in Brackettville, you'll find the contact on the internet. Those are very nice people.
Stuntman Dean Smith is a frequent guest there (he even married in the church of the film set, the one in which Crockett discovers the pulvera). JW gave him his first break in The Alamo, Ford hired him for Two Rode Together after he saw what he could do, and he worked with Wayne as a stuntman and actor in Rio Lobo again.

Thank you itdo. That info sure should help. I am a reincarnation kind of , of Duke. You see My dad was a real Duke , for lack of a better word, clone. He lived his life as much as he could , just likje the Duke. Only, he never went to Hollywood and became a star. He watched The Duke on the big screen as a kid in the fiftys, and took on all JW's attributes which were then passed on to me. I was not allowed to grieve at his funeral in97, due to my mother's disdain for him and I really think that seeing and maybe touching something of the Dukes will give me the closure I so desire.

Again, thank you you for your help. I have to get to that Alamo set someday , soon, I hope. Take care pal, bye for now.
