Does anyone know where I can find a DVD or VHS copy of the documentary "John Wayne Standing Tall"? I dubbed my copy off TV many years ago, before cable or satellite was in my area, and it is a very poor quality copy. I would like very much to replace it with one that doesn't have so much static and lost audio in it. It is probably one of the better documentarys of John Wayne, and is hosted by his friend James Arness. I've searched the web and can't find a doggone thing about it anywhere. I'm hoping that someone here can point me in the right direction.

I think I've seen that documentary myself, but I don't have anything on that. Have you check any web site from James Arness? You might find something there, or did you see who produced the documentary or the network? That is the only thing I can suggest. You have the video, so you might be able to find out some of that information.

By the way, could you tell us what you found when you find out anything?

of some these lost docs, and re-release them!!

I wonder if this is a professional studio release of the DVD or a DVD copy of a tape somebody made of the show?

Bob, if you do get this can you let us know if there is a production company listed on it so we might all have a chance to get a copy sometime.
