Well, it's official - the Dean Smith Celebrity Rodeo is set for October 19 - 21, 2006, in Abilene, Texas. It is in honor and memory of John Wayne and to benefit the John Wayne Cancer Institute.

Check here (http://www.celebrityrodeo.org/) for more information, regarding some of the celebs they expect to have in attendance. Since October is still a ways away, I would guess the list can change some.

Sounds like a good idea to me. Les Adams would be the guy to contact, I think, he would have an idea what it would take to make that happen.

If nothing else, he would be the one to talk to about having a booth at the event, to promote the message board.
