When my wife was a kid, she and her family were vacationing in Utah, in the Monti La Sal national forest. Some locals there gave them directions to a tree where John Wayne had carved his name while he was there shooting a film.

We are now trying to figure out two things...which film that was, and if it is possible to relocate the tree. Has anyone any information that can help?
