Hi All Members,

I am new to the site and from what I have seen so far it's the best out there!!!!
A couple of in person contacts with John Wayne has brought me here. While in the Navy I was stationed at Pearl Harbor when they were filming "In Harm's Way" Several times the Duke was at the non-commissioned officer's club not the officers club for a few drinks. he was always nice to all who said hi or wanted to buy him a drink. A few years later I was working for PSA an airline in Burbank California when one day the Duke comes thru the terminal stops at the gift shop the proceeds out to his Aero Commander Turbo 500 that had an an oscar with a black patch painted over its eye painted on the tail of the airplane, really cool!! I asked him for an autograph and he signed an 5x8 sheet of paper "Good luck Rosalie, John Wayne, Rosalie is my wife. He was in town that day for his brother Robert's funeral. Does any one have any idea what this might be worth?? as there is a space between his signature and the good luck, which means it could be mounted without the address to rosalie on it.

desert rat,

Welcome to the greatest message board for a great American, John Wayne! Your inquiry is very interesting. Are you interested in selling this autograph? And how can we see this?

Again, welcome.

Cheers Hondo B)
