I'm interested in knowing if the Duke was born jewish. I know his mother was an Irish catholic but, what was his father's reigious denomination????

I think he was born Catholic. I don't know what religion his father was, if he had any religion. But in everything I have read it was Catholic, although he didn't practice it until the end.
And I know his kids were Catholic and tried to get him back to the church, but other than that, that is all I know. I just know before he died he did reinstate his realationship with the church.
