I was wrong in telling you that the quote, "Smoke em if you got em" is from the movie," Sands of Iwo Jima"! It might be in the original uncut version; its not in the version you find at Blockbuster. When old "Terrible" Ted Turner was colorizing the black and white movies from the forties and fifties, maybe he did some editing as well!
I thought John Wayne said that line right before he is shot by the Japanese sniper. There was a really bad Australian film made a few years ago that had that title.

Swede116 are you trying to say that John Waynes movies have been unlawfully edited after release. I know in my version of Sands of Iwo Jima this line does not exist.
