I don't know how many of you make note of the board statistics, but for a very long time now (since December of last year) the most users ever online was 262, on December 23, 2006. That has changed. Now it is 292, on July 1, 2007, at 11:16 AM (that's Pacific Daylight Time)! Wish I'd been there to see it!! Was anybody else online at that time, checking out "Online Users"? It must have been pages and pages of Guests!

I'm usually around then but I never pay much attention to the stats. If there were a ton of guests all we see is a number and current members online or visited that day. The site couldn't be getting hammered could it?

I was here off and on yesterday and I did look at the stats a couple of times. Did not count the number of guests but saw it went to another page. I just assumed it was all those buttons that DS handed out.

DS, what do you mean by, hammered?

It's a simply and nasty trick to hammer a site which can cause a site to go down because of too much traffic or too many requests for the same or multiple things.

I was here one day last week and noticed 2 members, but there were 109 guests. That's the most I've ever seen.
