I was browsing through my latest Sportsman's Guide catalog and lo and behold, there was a framed and matted photograph of you-know-who, from The Cowboys. It was also the same photo that had been on the cover of Life magazine years ago.

And Chester You are So Right it cost a Bundle to have a Large Picture Framed First Class. It cost over $500.00 to have the One Graham did for me Framed !!!

Too expencive. And if I will be looking for photo of Duke to put on the wall I'm certainly choose another one. This photo from Cowboys is sure famous and i have a postcard with it, but it is not one of my favorites.

While I wouldn't spend that much money on a picture of John Wayne, I do like that picture. Unlike Senta, it is one of my favorite shots of Duke. I had a smaller version of it that got lost somewhere between marriages. :glare: I hate when that happens!

Interesting that you got hooked on Sportsmans Guide Chester. They are from my neck of the woods, just about 70 miles north of me in south St. Paul, MN. They have good deals on alot of stuff but you have to be careful as some of it is cheap. but I have ordered stuff from them in the past.
