PS, I finally cought the TCM tribute last night from the beginning. I counted around 39 people listed. One I was shocked to learn who passed was Kerwin Matthews. I've seen a few of his films that were OK. I wure wish that he could have made some "A" list films as well. Hondo Duke Lane December 25th, 2007, 12:08 AM A very fitting tribute. I get emotional when I see these things and find it hard to believe that so many are gone now. I am touched by so many who came in my home then and now, and seeing them go is just a way to know that times do change and we are not here for long. Make the time you have count, you may be at the last part of your time (God forbid). I look forward to being with you in 2008. Cheers  Mike a.k.a. Hondo Mike, very well said I feel the same way as you do. I have to admit that I had tears in my eyes when I saw this long list of so many of good people whom have faded into history. Jay J. Foraker December 27th, 2007, 10:54 AM Same here, folks. This does cause thoughts on our mortality. Some times I find that someone passed away a few years ago and I did not realize this! The memories can cause one to greatly reflect on the human condition! Cheers - Jay:beer: The Ringo Kid December 27th, 2007, 07:00 PM I have to admit that when other greats such as: Cary Grant, James Cagney, James Stewart, Robert Mitchum, James Coburn, Anthony Quinn and Sir John Mills passed away; I had tears. I was really shocked when I first heard that Anthony Quinn had died because the last news interview I saw on him he really was healthy in appearance. Same thing goes for Sir John Mills. I learned (only a few years late) of his passing away when by chance I happen to be looking up something on IMDB and saw he had died. Oh and for any Sir John Mills fans here, I was happy to see that he also starred in the Western: "Chucka." Because of that, that's a DvD im getting on my next order from DDDvD. gt12pak December 27th, 2007, 07:21 PM Howdy All, There is the "Dead of Alive?" website, that keeps a running list of celebrities and other famous and semi-famous people of have died, who's still alive, birthdays and such.
