Kevin.

I was wondering if it would be possible to extend the time limit for posts to be made within topics before they are closed.

I wanted to post within the Indiana Jones thread, however I was prevented from doing this as the there have been no posts within this topic for the past 166 days therefore the topic is closed. This is also a problem for several of the movie threads which have been closed due to lack of posting.

Thanks in advance
Robbie.

Robbie,

Check out this (http://www.dukewayne.com/showthread.php?t=2659) thread.

I think this problem mostly tends to occur when you're trying to use the "Quick Reply" feature, which, BTW, I never use.

If you use the "Post Reply" button at the bottom of the page and make sure to click the little check box, you should be all right.

Robbie,

I'm sure Kevin could extend but you can post out of the quick reply, and check the box to activate the thread. We'll get in touch with Kevin on your request.

Cheers  Hondo

The topic(s) are not closed, but just set as inactive.

If you feel you need to post to an old thread then you can hit the "Go Advanced" button on the quick reply area and post (make sure you tick the little box above the submit button).

The threads are set inactive to make sure that members are aware that what they are replying to is over 6 month's old, in some cases it maybe best to start a fresh thread.
