What was the name of John Wayne's dog in Hondo(1953), North to Alaska(1960) and Big Jake(1971)?

I think the dog in Hondo was named "Dog" and it was the dog that played Lassie, with his fur changed to a different color. Don't know the others. Oh well . . . .

I know the dog in Big Jake is Dog and was played by the Lassie dog and if you pay attention you can see when the die job starts to fade then they fix it, although it may be the order in which it was filmed as they don't film start to finish in most films.

The dog in Hondo was "Sam".

Did not even remember a dog in "North to Alaska", so I just watched it and in the beginning he saves the Duke's satchel with the money in it and he says "thanks Clancey", not sure if he is in it again.
