Hi again everyone, :)
just wanted to thank you for taking the time to answer me the other day. I will send away for the Donovans Reef movie tomorrow, im sure my hubby will be surprised.
When we get a chance, we do sit and watch the odd movie together. He liked John Wayne first and i didnt to begin with, sounds silly to admit, but i guess because i thought it was a guy thing (westerns an all) i didnt give it much of a go, but now i love Johns movies. I dont go around admitting that to my girlfriends <_< , im i guess you could say, a closet John fan, lol.
But its great to have something we both enjoy to watch.
We have been married 22 years this year, he was my first and only boyfriend ( that sounds silly too) but its true, we married when i was only 17. We have 2 kids and we foster 3 others, so it can get a bit crazy around here, but we do make the effort to do something nice for each other and now he can add this movie to his collection. thanks again, sorry for the life story :unsure:

Hey, don't you dare apologize for sharing that wonderful story! We love to hear it. My husband and I have become big time John Wayne fans in the past 5 years or so, and we have a great time together, watching movies and comparing actors that we recognize from other movies, etc. We've been married 25 years (celebrated that just two weeks ago today), have six kids :huh: (all ours, neither of us has ever been married to anybody else), so keep on "Duke-ing" and, as soon as he's got that movie in his hand and the secret's out, get him on over here, and get him a postin'! :D
