I just wanted to say I love your website...you see I was a little boy and the only time you could a John Wayne movie was when the Networks showed them..My mother loved him so much...and even to this day I find John Wayne comforting...You see I suffer from Panic and OCD attacks...the doctors are working on it...when everything starts coming in on me I can watch the duke and suddenly I'm a kid again and I know the good guy will win....God Bless the Duke...

Sorry to hear about your illness and I hope you will get a cure for it in the very near future.

Its not unusual for people to find Duke and or his movies comforting. A little girl in the 1960's had been in a coma for a long time her parents asked for her favourite movie star/actor to come to the hospital to which he did late one night. He talked to the girl for several hours and she came out of her coma, needless to say who the man in this story is.

Besides after a tough or depresing day what would you prefer to come home and watch some modern film drivel on tv or the Duke no contest in my book.
