I do not know what Duke wore for His Good Pants, but in most of His Western Films He wore Levi Strauss Pants that were made Just For Him, in Many Colors, and we still have Two Pair at the 26 Bar Ranch.

In the Old Days of the West in the 1860s Levi Stauss was making what were only known as "Levis" long before all the other pants companys started making what are now called Blue Jeans and came in only one color Blue !

Though I am the same height as John Wayne, I would have to fold cuffs on the bottom of his pants if I were to wear them. We differ in that he had long legs and I have relatively short legs but a long torso (I am a foot taller than the Mrs., but our inseam is almost the same).
