Hiya All!!!

My name is Crystal and I am 27 years old...i was raised on John Wayne....I lived, ate and breathed the Duke! I stumbled on this site and Can't be happier to find ppl who love him as much as I do! Watching todays Actors makes me long for a time when movies required more than special effects to get them through it. My favorite movie is Sands of Iwo Jima....John Wayne is an American hero and alot of todays Actors should take note of him :0 Anyways i just wanted to say hi and Can't wait to get into the forums :)

Yepper Sands of Iwo Jima is my ALL time favorite movie! I honestly can't remember when Iwasn't a John Wayne fan. As I got older I saw John Wayne as a superhero (lol I was the nine year old who agrued with my friends that superman was nothing compared to John Wayne.) I grew up on his movies. My parents are big fans. For my birthday its a tradation to get me the Dukes movies lol. I am in the prcess of getting his movies on dvd now.

To me he was what all Americans should be...Ya may not agree with what the Goverment says but you better give the military the respect it has earned. I was taught that by my parents and I choose to follow actors that can also act and hasn't forgot that its the Armed Forces that has payed the price for them to be actors. Make any sence lol?

Welcome Crystal to our little board, and what I think is the best John Wayne message board on this earth. We are world wide and have many from Europe, Australia, and even our Canadian friends. We are so glad to have you on board, and Sands is a great movie, no doubt!

You might invite your parents to join us if they have internet capabilities. We'd love to hear from them as well. Age doesn't matter for we have a wide range of ages in here too. From as early as 13 years to over 60.
