I like Angie Dickinson in "Rio Bravo", Laureen Bacall was also very good especially in "The Shootist". Of course though Maureen Ohara was the best.

Angie Dickinson was great and Maureen O'Hara goes without saying, but I always loved the pairing of Duke and Gail Russell. She may have had her demons in her private life, but on screen, her and Duke had a good thing working. Too bad they only got the 2 chances to work together. dukefan1

I'd have to agree with Sands_of-Iwo-Jima, although I feel Maureen O'Hara is number 1, I really enjoyed Katherine Hepburn.

:headbonk: (No, this has nothing to do with anything, I just couldn't resist using it!)

My vote??

1 Lauren Becall (Sexy fiesty gal!)
2 Gail Russel (Sweet, but tragic lady)
3 Patricia Neal (Oh come on, she a great actress!)
4 Elsa Martinelli (Even though she's in only one of his movies, she is a beautiful gal)
5 Marlene Dietrich ( I have to agree with Viery!) :stunned:

The only reason that I don't vote for Ms O'Hara is, well, it's a given!
