Interesting site with some rare John Wayne photos. I have placed it at the earliest but if you move the space bar to the left it brings it upto the present with 3D release of Hondo.

When I clicked on the link, it was at the most recent (which was a picture of what appeared to be a short JW impersonator). But if you drag that little square to the far right, you are right, some very old, neat pictures are there to be viewed. So far, the neatest by far is a picture of Duke and his younger brother Robert as children in 1915.

Though this is a relatively new thread, it doesn't seem to have had much exposure, so I'd like to (bump) it back to the top, in hopes that more may enjoy this collection of photos (see DukePilgrim's first post for the link). It seems there is not a scroll bar any more, but a listing of 5 pages. The first three pages have assorted photos, some of which directly relate to our Duke (some photos of a screening of 'The High and the Mighty' at the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences on May 24, 2007 in Beverly Hills, California - worth checking out, as some of them are pics of Duke's family, including grandchildren and great-grandchildren). Some of the photos have NOTHING to do with our JW, but are of others named John Wayne (the horse pics). The older pictures of Duke are on the bottom half of page 3 through page 5 (bottom of page 2 and top half of page 3 have photos of hockey player Michael Morrison :teeth_smile: - not necessarily related to Duke).

Some of the older photos are ones I have never seen before, and worth the look.
