On the morning of Aug. 19, 2003, Brian B from Tulalip Washington passed away at his home. He had a massive heart attack and apparently suffered from heart disease. His friends and family are still in shock by his sudden passing. I wanted to make this post because as his good friend I know how much he enjoyed taking part in the discussions and posts here at this site. We worked together and everyday he had something new from the site to talk about. This was one of his biggest interests. His family and friends miss him dearly.

He and his familiy are in the prayers of the Prince family (My real name). To tell you the truth, he was too young to go. I've had a lot of great disscusions with him, and I shall say he will be greatly missed. His passing will leave a void in our lives that cannot be replaced.
Thank you Big Jim for letting us know, and we hope that you are allright for the loss of a close freind.

Fellow Members
Just like to send my condolences to the family of Brian B. I am fairly new on the board but it was still a surprise to see the news. Again, my sympathies.

My Deepest Sympathy to the Family and his friends of BrianB. He was a great person to read from on the threads, and his knowledge of Duke and the air crafts were great. I know now that BrianB and the Duke are having a great chat about many many things now, and he's probably telling Duke of the many many fans that adore him even today.

I will truly miss Brian, and his many insights. I can't believe it either. He's like family! Prayers to those really close to him at this very sad time. Big Jim, please keep us informed, and thank you for your message. I know how hard it is for you right now, and you're in our prayers, too.

Condolences, Hondo Duke Lane :(

Mrs. Chester and I left today for a short family vacation, but managed to get web access tonight, and were stunned to learn of the passing of Brianb. We're still sitting here in shocked silence, trying to take it all in.

Our most sincere sympathies are extended to Brian's family at this very sad time, and of course his friends as well. Although we never met in person, I feel like we have lost a good friend.

All who grieve Brian's loss will be in our prayers.

Sincerely and sadly,

Chester

I read this last night and I was completely stunned. I couldn't think of anything to say so I logged off.

I am genuinely very sorry to hear of this untimely death of a Brian. Although I never met him, via his posts I began to like the man and respect his thoughts and is vast amount of information on the military. He seemed like a nice person and like Hondo said he's probably up talking to JW and friends in heaven about this board etc. I can only repeat what others have said that he is also in my prayers and my sympathy is also with his friends and family.

I would also like to see his idea regarding the post ranking implemented. Not only because it is the best idea but it would be a lasting tribute and memory towards a person whom had a genuine love for John Wayne and whom did a lot for this messageboard.

I too am shocked to hear of Brian's passing. I don't post many messages but enjoy reading messages from everyone and when I have needed help finding an answer to a question I have always gotten it here. I want to add my condolences to his family and friends he will be missed. My thoughts and prayers are with all who loved and knew Brian. I am sure he sought out JW to let him know how he is still impacting all our lives.
