I have two songs that you may or may not have heard before. They are My Hero, John Wayne, by Red Sovine, and Micheal Marion Morrison, by Ray Stevens. These are short downloads and take about 20 min. or less on 56k.

Thanks for posting that link I was actually on the look out for John Wayne related songs so this link has been a great help. I downloaded the "My Hero" song a it ok but I went to get back on the site buti couldn't is it experiencing difficulties?

Thanks Kevin. I have uploaded those two songs to a site I have and they have eaten up most of the MBs! If you have a server, then maybe you have more space than I can provide. If this is so, I would like to send 4 radio programs to you to put on your server for access. They are an hour long and might take up a bit. They are:

Red River starring John Wayne & Walter Brennan
She Wore A Yellow Ribbon with John Wayne
Fort Apache With John Wayne
Stagecoach With John Wayne

There are a few other movies that had starred JW in the movie version, but in the radio versions, the star is someone else. JW is not in them. these are the only radio program/movie version John Wayne starred in.

Thanks for those songs! I really like Red Sovine. He's made some great ones over the years. A couple of my favorites are "Giddyup, Go!" and "Teddy Bear".

These songs will definitely be on my next burned CD (it'll make my kids crazy, especially the 13 and 15 year olds :lol: ).
