Running amock across the web, I found some rare images of John Wayne. I'd thought you'd like to see them. If you like them I'll try to find more sometime. I will be off the net for about 2 weeks as I have some important buisness to attend to. Also the JE Picture Game will be suspended during that time. But I will be back like a bad penn! ;)

JOHN WAYNE & NINA HAZARD (http://www.bajadestinations.com/photos/waynehazard/waynehazard.htm) This young girl happened to meet JW at the Airport in 1963. Short story, but it show what a guy John was.

Enjoy all! :agent:

Baron,

These are great, I really enjoyed reading the story about Nina. And the pictures are awesome. What a classic bunch of vehicles. Where do you get the info? They are great.

You will be missed, see you in a couple of weeks.

Cheers, Hondo B)

Baron,

Those were some very good photos, and we enjoyed the link to Nina (boy, wouldn't you love to have had that opportunity as a child?).

We, too, will miss you, and look forward to seeing you again in two weeks!

Great pictures. I too especially loved the one with Nina. What a great memory for a little girl to have. And what a handsome fella! (Sorry, guys, but it's gotta be said once in a while!) Why can't men wear fedoras nowadays?!?!?!?!?

JOHN WAYNE & NINA HAZARD (http://www.bajadestinations.com/photos/waynehazard/waynehazard.htm) This young girl happened to meet JW at the Airport in 1963. Short story, but it show what a guy John was.
So here's a mystery - the above link is deader than a doornail. For the life of me, I can't remember the story that was told there (though those of us who read it obviously enjoyed it), and a Google search for Nina Hazard doesn't bring up anything John Wayne related.

Does anybody remember (or know from another source) what the story was?

P.S. If you haven't already, you should scroll up and check out the photos - they're really neat.

Nina, I second that handsome comment; but then everyone here knows I am eternally in love with Duke....:stunned:

Sorry I am not here as much dear friends. Taking care of my own man and this farm, writing a book and making jewelry....

Wish I had run into Duke at any point in my life...Oh well, he's always in my dreams....mmm mmm mmm.

Thanks Baron for the cool pics of our hero...

Thanks for that link, etsija!

I guess we can imagine what the story might have been that goes with the picture (BTW, folks, you have to scroll down just a little on that page to see the picture of Duke and Nina). It must have been a chance encounter - a case of being in the right place at the right time!
