Running amock across the web, I found some rare images of John Wayne. I'd thought you'd like to see them. If you like them I'll try to find more sometime. Great pictures. I too especially loved the one with Nina. What a great memory for a little girl to have. And what a handsome fella! (Sorry, guys, but it's gotta be said once in a while!) Why can't men wear fedoras nowadays?!?!?!?!? :angry:

So here's a mystery - the above link is deader than a doornail. For the life of me, I can't remember the story that was told there (though those of us who read it obviously enjoyed it), and a Google search for Nina Hazard doesn't bring up anything John Wayne related.

Does anybody remember (or know from another source) what the story was?

I guess we can imagine what the story might have been that goes with the picture (BTW, folks, you have to scroll down just a little on that page to see the picture of Duke and Nina). It must have been a chance encounter - a case of being in the right place at the right time!
