If you haven't noticed, I want to bring to your attention that our membership is up to 300 registered members! Not bad for 9 months, huh? We were at around 150 members in May. So keep spreadin' the word about this AWESOME message board!

WOW, I would have never thought that we would see 400 this year! I figured maybe later next year or something.

Thanks to all who has visited and joined! This board would be nothing with out it's members!!!!

As we approach the New Year, we are fast approaching 425 members, and a whole lot of posts with so many great topics, and not so good topics on this site.

I am of course very happy to be here, and grateful for Kevin for putting this together. He told me that he never knew that this would grow as much as it has, and it's all because of the great membership.

Counting, I found we have 175 members who have not posted anything. There is no requirement in membership to post anything. It has been suggested that we or Kevin omit those on the board who don't have anything posted or haven't posted at a certain time frame. This is still to be decided, but what an accomplishment!

I'm glad to be here. It was an accident, as I was surfing the web and ran across this site, I signed up on January 14, 2003. I enjoyed this and never knew how that it would grow like it did. I like numbers, but it's the people from around the world, that I enjoy the most as well as those in the states. I knew that Duke was big, but never this big, so I'm not surprise that he's in the top 10 year after year, and it's because of you.

We will always be around, to keep Duke alive in his movies, books, stories and fans. I look forward to great topics in 2004.

We agree with you, it will be interesting to see what topics come up in the new year. Even when I think it's all been said, and what else could anybody come up with - bam! Someone jumps in with a new idea, a new question (itdo is particularly good at that :D ). It should definitely be a fun year.

Regarding those who have never posted, I don't feel a particular need to remove them. For whatever reason, they registered. I have lurked on other boards, never posting, but really appreciating the views expressed. I'd hate to deprive anyone of the knowledge available here, plus the ability to PM or email other members, just because they might be shy :unsure: about posting.

I guess it's official. We have picked up 428 members in 2003. That is a great accomplishment, and I'm so glad to be a part of it. I look forward to the topics in 2004 and the many new members that are coming.

That's a pretty impressive number! Over at the McCandles Forum at Yahoo, they've been around several years, and seem to be pretty active, but their membership is pretty stable around 150, so I'd say 428 is pretty good, although somebody else could join in the last 7 minutes of 2003 (at least in PST) :D .

Well, on February 1, 2004 at 3:50 Pacific Standard Time, our message board stands at 471 members. I am continually surprised at how this place grows and grows!

This board has always been small with a very small number of posters I would just be interested to see what the exact figure is and what is was this time last year.

It's that old chestnut again!!
All those members, and only a handful of posters,
Currently out of 988 members,
we have 11 Regular, and 12 seldom posters!!
It's a shame, because with more active support,
more threads would run and run, before running out of steam.
I am also sure, another chestnut will be raised,
and I will be told,that the other 965 members,
are mysteriously logged on,viewing and watching the posts!!
but do not wish to be actively involved!
