I know i have not been on line for awhile my mom has been sick and been taking her to the doc to see what was going on, she has alot of test done. she seems to be getting a little better.
she has a hiatal hernia and some others damage in that area. the biospy will be back next monday and i take her back to see what it showed and to see
what she can take to try and help with this problem.
i took mom to the doc yesterday and she has the hiatal hernia
plus acid reflux around that and around where the stomach emptys out.
he wrote a script for her.
there was no sign of cancer. the only test to do would the inst, which have to drink alot of stuff to clean out and she told the doc she would not show up for that test.
so for now hope the meds and a special diet will help stop it all.

been watching some great john waynes this month a few i feel asleep but found them on again when i was awake so i watched them.

Glad to hear your mom doesn't have cancer! Sorry to hear about the other ailments, though, I know that can be difficult. Sorry to hear that you've been having health problems,too.

Watching John Wayne movies can be kind of comforting. My wife used to go to sleep listening to the CD America - Why I Love Her. She said Duke's voice was soothing.

Hi inda, nice to see you here again. Im glad you and your Mother are doing better. I too have been very sick lately. Just last Thursday, I cam home froma day on the town and was having shooting-stabbing pains all up and down my right and left sides-back, right shoulder and was very sick to my stomach. I came home and thought it might go away with drinking hot chocolate-as it usually did but, I started drinking the suger free stuff and just got worse. I went into Brackenriidge Hospital late thurs-released early Fri because they couldnt figer out what was wrong. Said for me to come back in 24 hrs if it didnt change or got worse. Well, it got worse. I was admitted Friday-could not eat anything from late thurs till sometime mid to late sat. I finally was told my Gallbladder was very bad and needed to be removed. I had sy=urgery early Sun morning and was held an extraday because I had somekinf od an infection in my blood. Ive been out since late Tues-so that why I have no been here.

Anyway, glad to read your both feeling better.

Sorry to hear about your medical problems. I have been having a lot of pain in my left hip and am finally going to have hip replacement surgery on May 26. Hope you are doing well.

Hi Jay, Cheers Keith, thank you both for the nice words. I was pretty much "out of it" for the last 4 months getting sick everytime I ate or drank somehting no matter what it was. It finally got so bad that I had to go get seen. I had always knocked it off as my lousy choice of food.

Jay, ill be sending a message or several to the Gent above-about having a successful surgery. A freind of mine had to have his replaced when he was a teenager.

Keith, if you do start one? please let me know ;-)) It'll be a nice thing to have a few Docs on board ;-))

Thank you Smokey. Am feeling much better but still get a dizzy spell and a daily fever. If that doesnt stop? I guess ill go back and see if I can get tested for both those things. At least most of the itchiong has also stopped-it was driving me around the bend ;-))

Jay, this message may get on here to late for you to see it pre-surgery, but of course we wish the best for you! I know several folks who have had that surgery, and I understand that it's quite painful in the early weeks of recovery, but ultimately worth it! We pray that you find it to be so. Funny that you will have surgery on John Wayne's birthday! Hm-m-m . . . an opportunity to find out who the John Wayne fans are on your surgical team :wink_smile:! Anyway, like Mark says, we'll be holding a seat for you when you get back!

hi all my mom is doing better, i had to take her to get a headstone for her and dads grave and go and besure the man knew where it was to be placed when it was ready. my brother is build her an apartment for her out of his garage it is big enough for one. i have been making me flowerbed. while it is still nice been having alot of bad storm lately. i know i do not get on much but i have bad headaches which the doc says is from arutherist in my neck. so i can not stay to long on pc right now. i am waiting for my pc man to get with me to build my new pc. i hope i get it done soon.
