Unfortunately, the last time I was looking for the same item in the past few months, I found that the people who license these items have not renewed the licenses, so the manufacturers have had to curtail production of the desired cut-outs. The one I own at home (stands near our front door to "greet" visitors) is getting a little dog-eared, and I was hoping to replace it.

Coincidentally, today I faxed a letter to the people who grant licensing to the manufacturers, regarding this specific issue. I'll keep you posted if I get a response, and especially if I get news of renewed production.

In the meantime, keep your eye posted on the local flea market papers or ads on Ebay, as sometimes they come up there (although recently they have been quite pricey).

I am sorry to tell you what I heard. We have friends that just bought a tavern and she has two, one of John Wayne and one of some other cowboy and she was told by someone, that they are geting harder to find and that no one is producing them anymore. Sorry........DaraLynn

Hello all.... I came to this sight in hopes of finding out where to get these standups for my sons room. This is all he wants for Christmas this year; to have his room done in "John Wayne". I think it is pretty cool for a 12 year old. If anyone hears of these standups becoming available, please let me know.....Thanks a-bunch.

these standups sell high on Ebay. Why?
just buy a life-sized poster, glue it on wood and be careful sawing. That way it's up to you which picture of JW you will have standing around, looking over your shoulder for the next few years. It looks the same like an expansive standup AND it's not folded in the middle.

YEE HAW! You don't know how long I've been waiting for these to come back on the market. The one I have (the one in the middle, for those of you who clicked on the link) is getting awful dog-eared, and poor ol' Duke folds over in the middle a little too easy :unsure: . Hey,i really cannot help you right now...but i did notice a store full of celebrity cardboard standups in the west edmonton mall (in alberta)...although if i can remember correctly they were very expensive....some being signed by that celebtiry ,exp: David prowse "Darth Vader".Im going back this summer...i will try to get more info if you are still interested.
