Hey all! I finally got around to uploading some of my Duke DVD caps to my little uni webspace. It's pretty barebones out there but there are quite a few caps, particularly from A Lady Takes a Chance. Too bad the quality of the transfer for that film is not the greatest; the caps really look a little blurry. For the rest of the films I was kind of just playing around; I didn't really get very many from The Quiet Man, for example. In They Were Expendable I got a little carried away with Duke in the t-shirt; in some scenes he just looks especially cool! *blush*

They were really good, and ejoyed them. It took a while to see them, but I did see all of them. :huh: This is a great start and I know that you will get this going as you go on and on. I would advise you not to use the ones that are not showing good on screen. You have so many, so you can be choosey (spelling) in your display. Thanks for sharing.

Yeah, some of the ones from They Were Expendable were kind of dark. I wasn't at all choosy - just grabbed whatever tickled my fancy at the time and dumped 'em out there. The dark ones looked okay on my monitor at work, though. Hope the server wasn't too slow at dishing them up for you. I need to find out how to upload them so that you don't have to go back and click on each one separately.

Anyway, thanks for the feedback. If you guys like them I can keep at it, but if not I won't bother to share them in the future. I am totally not trying to fish for praise - just curious whether or not people are truly interested in looking at captures. I like them but that doesn't mean everybody does! :)

i had a quick look and i have to say i liked what i saw, sorry i didn't get to see them all as i have been busy looking for stuff for my son for school will get back when i have time and finish looking at them so keep them coming kiddo love them

Jen, would it be a problem for you to take more vidcaps from "a lady takes a chance"?
You see I have a website for Jean Arthur and I'd like to have some screencaps. Actually the DVD from ALTAC doesn't exist here in Italy so I have to ask someone else to take the vidcaps for me. Of course you'll be credited.
If it's ok for you just send me a private m, if you can't it doesn't matter. ;)
