Chance and myself have decided to gt as many people onto the chatroom this Saturday at 6pm UK time to flesh out some ideas as how to save some of Dukes movies namely the Searchers on IMDB.COM being consigned to history along with Dukes legacy. I hope many of you all will join so that we can get this thing going.

I tried to be there at that time but on my side, the board was disabled for some hours. Hope you had a chance to talk.

There was a pretty good turnout on the chatroom on Saturday and it was quite productive. I or some of the others who took part will post up the ideas we came up with ASAP.

Thanks Roland for trying and I also believe Smokey was there as well but couldn't stay long.
I was thinking of a follow up to this maybe the same time next to see what has been done, have any improvements taken place and to find out where to go from here.

On Saturday we came up with the following steps they are pretty straightfoward but it would be good if everybody who reads this implements a at least one or two of them.

1. Bombard IMDB with emails regarding the mistreatment of the searchers e.g. yesterday it moved from 103rd position to 102nd and then dropped to 107th. The movies has now dropped 10 positions in less than a week while no other movies has changed position. There are also movies above The Searchers that have fewer votes so I think the problem is that IMDB feel that the movie shouldn't be ranked so highly.

Chance has the e-mail address and hopefully he will post it here so we can all register our complaints.

2. Within the user comment section post a positive review of the movie as this may help its overall positon.

3. Keep registering 10 star votes for the movie.

4. Contact other John Wayne web sites and get them in on this.
