My wife is arguing with me about this. I read that his son was present during the fight scene in the water. He did his own stunts, and during the scene his boy could be heard screaming because the water was very cold and he was afraid for his dad. She thinks it was a later movie closer to the Shootist time. I know I am right and I have looked up all kinds of sights to prve it, but she does not believe me. HELP!!!

Yes, your right the first movie the Duke made after he licked the "Big C" was "The Sons of Katie Elder" 1965. And he did much of the action in that film.
