I have a non-functioning (im not dumb enough to open it to see what the deal is) JW watch, with a pistol that looks like it will tick/tock with the seconds, and it has the date "1950" on the face. The band looks never-worn, I hope it is original, no way of knowing.

I dont have a pix yet. Any idea of the probable selling range? I expect to sell it on e-bay next week, maybe a 10 day auction.

Thx for any help

Martin,

You know, I thought I had read every post here, and I see that somehow I never saw your first post until yesterday :headbonk: .

First of all, WELCOME to the John Wayne Message Board! We appreciate you sharing this watch with us. It does look kind of neat. If you stay on this board long enough, you might become a real John Wayne fan and wish you'd never sold the watch :D .

I'm guessing that by now, you have been able to establish the worth of the watch by other means. Perhaps others from this board contacted you via email, rather than on the message board. In any case, I wish you well on your auction.
