"The Green Berets" on the big screen

For any of you in Texomaland (that's North Texas, Southern Oklahoma...the Lake Texoma area), The Rialto Theater in Downtown Denison, Texas is having a special showing of "The Green Berets" this Sunday afternoon at 2pm.

The websight for the Rialto is rialtodenison.com

I'm thinking about going - it's been a long time since I've seen Duke on the big screen! If so, I hope to see some of you there.

Jealous! Though I must confess, I do have opportunities to see Duke on the big screen, thanks to that little theater down in Carmel (name escapes me right now . . . ).

Have a great time (if you decide to go)!

We barely have a theater in my are. Can you believe that we have almost 300,000 people in the area and only have 32 screens. That is 3 theaters. Are you kidding that we will show classics here? I need to move. Any suggestions?

    Cheers Hondo

I would invite you to Corpus but--the Independant eat-in theater went bust--which is a darn shame. Rumor has it that the old Ritz Theater located in Downtown-is SUPPOSED to open (when? I dunno?) and is SUPPOSED to only play classic movies. However, that rumor has been going around for several years now. Last I heard--someone actually bought the place but is now supposedly trying to raise the money to renovate it.
