    Duke's New Stagecoach Postage Stamp

I posted this in NON-Westerns you saw yesterday. After a month here and over 200 posts, I had never started a thread, LOL! So, Ethan told me to just start a new one and repost. After MUCH searching, FAQs, etc. I found it under Forums....imagine that! So, here is the new stamp. It is the best I have seen. Only, it has a 4up instead of 6up. Heck, as Pappy said, he wanted Ward, (my love), for the driver, but he couldn't drive a 6up. He sure learned after THAT! KP Well, after 200 posts, guess it was time to learn how to post one!

Re: Duke's New Stagecoach Postage Stamp

Hi there Stumpy, Add another person to my few, LOL.
Yep, I thought that was the best stamp of Duke I had ever seen. AND, I learned how to start a thread, LOL!

The best I can figure since my three years of Latin were about 44 years ago is
"It's a question of taste?" What does it really mean and does it come from somewhere specific?

We like most of the same movies for the 25, although you need to add some!
Lots didn't put They Were Expendable, but I loved it. Did you know that Ward Bond had been injured for quite some time and needed money badly. So Pappy wrote that part of "Boats", I think, in for him so he could stand all the time and deliver his lines. Near the end, they had him shot in the leg so he could be the one to lead the men off on the final march. Made me cry when he told the two goodbye! Boy could he act!

Anyway, glad you liked the stamp. I wanted SO to post it before anyone else did! KPKEITH

Very close - according to my Latin dictionary the actual definition is "there's no accounting for taste".

Well, I wasn't that close after all. We DO forget as the years go by. Didn't think I had forgotten THAT much though, LOL

Did you make it up? Or did it come from somewhere special? KPKEITH

It gets worse - I often think I'm contracting Alzheimers as my formerly great memory has fled to unknown places.
