I think this will be unique to UK members so maybe Arther or Chance can help me on this one.

From reading about the Sinatra and Marilyn programs iy seems like the same old re hash of sightings. So that be it , the only sighting of Duke that I have heard of has been at the Alamo. And they could fill the program with the others that are there.

    Hi Reasr

If its only a stupid programme about supposed sightings of the Duke then I don't think I'll bother but the advert on the radio did mention talking to co-stars.

    Arther

I wouldn't have known anything about it either only yesterday I was listening to the radio and happened upon the advert by gail porter.

    Regards
    Robbie

    Hi Robbie

Apparently looking at next weeks copy of Whats on TV, there is a programme called Dead Famous on Tuesday 25th January on Living TV at 2100.

As you say what its about the paper offers no explanation at all, but for what its worth there it is.

    Hi Robbie and REASR

I caught the last twenty minutes of this programme, and that included commercials, basically it isas REASR wrote it namely two people looking for the spirit of John Wayne. It was absolutely ludicrous and preposterous. The only reason I continued watching it was because the last part concentrated on the Wild goose and it showed some fabulous shots aboard the boat. The last five minutes showed the bloke in one of the crews cabins waiting for the spirit to enter him while his girl friend was wandering about the engine room.

Apparently through him the spirit of Wayne said Life on earth hurts.

People like those two presenters should be locked up.

    Regards

    Arther

I'm sorry I bothered posting this topic I had no idea it was going to be the rubbish you pointed out. Your right when you say that the partispants in the show are complete loosers.

Did the programme not feature anything in relation to the Duke at all, what station was it on as I didn't see it advertised in my TV guides.

    Regards
    Robbie

    Hi Robbie

It was on Living TV (Cable) 2100 and repeated again at 2200.

I think they went to every place which was important to John Wayne, when I caught up with it they were just leaving Tucson.

I'm glad I didn't sit trough it all because in the short time I watched the bloke got on my t**s, but as I remarked the shots of the Wild Goose and the pictures of Duke were good.

    Regards

    Arthur
