I watched The Green Berets yesterday (more of that later) and got in the mood to watch Wayne's TV special "Vietnam - No Substitute for Victory".
Wayne's speeches were filmed in his own office. What I found interesting, if you look at the background closely - since he wasn't a catholic - is that among his other displays like Remington busts and trophies like the Oscar he had a large Jesus Christ mask on his wall, as well as a holy cross.
