I'm glad it seems that he had a good retirement and his second marriage was for over 40 years.

Sounds like some good Randolph Scott Westerns will be released soon.
Note that the reviewers give most of these very high ratings.
De gustibus non est disputandum
Thanks for the update Jim.

Thanks Jim for this information. I was waiting for them since I saw 7Man from Now. I even ordered poor tv copies from ioffer.com (waiting right now) , but I'm planning to buy this set too. I enjoy RS westerns always and 2 movies of Boetticher which I saw make me feel very respectful of this director.
Randolph Scott is one of my favorite western stars, I really enjoyed him in Wagon Wheels.
Another nice tribute by member lasbugas on YouTube (if you read French, you will get even more out of it, as there are some subtitles) -

RANDY SCOTT IS MY SECOND FAVOURITE ACTOR AFTER JOHN WAYNE.I THINK HIS WESTERNS ARE OF HIGH QUILTY.ESPECIALLY THE ONES HE MADE WITH BUDD BOETTICHER BETWEEN 1956-1960.IN THE 50s HE EVEN MADE MORE WAS THAN DUKE.
