    "Blacula" (1972)

    Plot:
During a visit to Transylvania, an African prince (William Marshall) gets turned into a vampire by Count Dracula (Charles McCauley) . Sealed in a coffin for several lifetimes, ''Blacula'' reawakens in 1970s Los Angeles. Leaving a trail of bloodless victims in his wake, he pursues Lina (Vonetta McGee), a woman who bears a striking resemblance to his dead wife. Meanwhile, Dr. Gordon Thomas (Thalmus Rasulala) and top cop Lt. Peters (Gordon Pinsent) are hot on the bloodsucker's trail.

Made a rare trip to the cinema to see The Evil Dead last night, didn't really have any of the humor or campiness of the original and seemed more like a horror by numbers to me.

I couldnt find anything good last night so I swiched the channel between: Fox News, THC for Pawn Stars, and Channel 60 which has that Restaurant Impossible show on, and another station that had something about Hoarders on it. In other words--nothing on last night was worth watching but I had to pass time somehow. >:-(( ..and.. //>:=((

That was the most marevlous lovely documentary iv'e ever seen, as a huge Beatles fan I found it really touching and a great look at what was a beautiful man. Tonight I watched Punch Drunk Love, I usually like Adam Sandler but this was just a complete miss for me on all levels, no idea why it's so critically acclaimed.

Watched Carnage a Roman Polanski film with Jodie Foster, Kate Winslet, Christoph Waltz and John C. Reilly, was a fun movie based on a play, had a few mentions of the Duke in there aswell!

Ya know, it is sad to say, but I guess forever when I hear or read the name Roman Polanski, I will have a picture in my mind of Charles Manson........hope most people don't...it is pretty bad, especially if you read "Helter Skelter"! Won an Edgar Allen Poe award for non-fiction horror....something like that. A lawyer given me in Palm Springs by Bob Hope for a trumped up charge that he got dropped was attorney for the Atkins girl....the star prosecution witness. His name was Paul Caruso. But, that is another story.

Have watched a lot since I have posted, but recently have gotten stuck on some spaghetti type westerns along with a few others. Besides, saw
Hombre, Night of the Grizzly....ones I saw long ago and liked.....then some I hadn't seen before and liked.....My Name is Nobody, Joe Navajo, and Grayeagle.Signed up for Netflix again......just the streaming part. Will get all I can out of it and drop it again. Boy, did THEY ever go downhill......shame! KEITH
God, she reminds me of me! DUKE
