    Hi Jay J,
I have the advantage on you by being from the east. I get the info a bit earlier. But even so I am sorry I stole your thunder. Have a good week end.

Hondo just came on about 18 minutes ago. So, everybody drop what you're doing and start viewing.

Saw a few of them myself (in between watching Daniel Boone) which include: Sands of Iwo Jima, Hondo, The Longest Day, The Comancheros, El Dorado and The Undefeated. ((Between AMC and TNT)) that is. :D

Oh and I almost forgot: Hatari.

Re: John Wayne Movies Sunday Turner Classic Movies

Paula, that was a very impressive lists of stars. I will really enjoy seeing some of these movies. To start out this great month is none other than John Wayne. And what a month of stars. Thanks for getting this out. May not be able to see all the Duke movies, but heck, I have all of those movies on DVD/Blu-ray. I can watch them any time.

The only people being highlighted that was in a John Wayne movies are James Cann, Katherine Hepburn, Rita Hayworth and Anthony Quinn.

    Cheers Hondo

Turner Classic Movies Info -- overnight Direct TV added TCM in HIGH DEF to its list of channel! I nearly fell over this morning when I got up and found TCM in HD! Best of all, the movie playing on the TV was The Searchers! I can't think of a better first movie to watch in HD on TCM. ;) It looks very good (although the actual Blu-ray looks better).

John Wayne day on TCM coming on Wednesday this week. Set your recorders or take the day off. This is a great day for Duke fans. Wish I could be sick that day. I think I have all those movies on DVD anyway.

    Cheers Hondo
