Just wanted to tell all of you what I bought for a dollar today at Wal-Mart...
I found a DVD with 5 episodes from The Lucy Show. And it has the one of Lucy and Duke! Best dollar I've ever spent....

I normally don't but I'll check it out to see who made the DVD.
A Great Find Cindy at that price. I have picked up the odd John Wayne DVd for around a £1.
Mike
The case says, Digiview Productions at digiviewus.com.
Cindy, thanks for letting us know. I need to go to WM tomorrow and will look through thier $1 buck stuff.
Es Ist Verboten Mit Gefangenen In Einzelhaft Zu Sprechen..
This looks cheaper than $1 to me
"I am not intoxicated - yet." McLintock!

Hi Cindy.
I also bought that DVD from Wal-Mart only mine was 2 discs and had 10 episodes. Also my picture seems to be better than the youtube link shown above. I paid 5.50 for mine also.
My DVD also has appearances from Carol Burnett, George Burns, Milton and Ruth Berle, Jim Nabors, Vivian Vance (form the original I Love Lucy show), Mel Torme and John Bubbles. The company that made mine is Delta and as I said earlier, the picture seems to be better than the youtube link.
Great Clip EJ
Thanks
Mike
Here's a little something extra for you....sad story......
I haven't figured out yet how something so sad can still bring a smile to my lips. Even a laugh. If anyone else here wants to see the rest of that story, please let me know and I will be more than happy to post it here.

I found it interesting how the last part had the actors in color against a B&W background. I wonder if that had been done just for that special report.

Great clips gt12pak. Thanks for posting

Chester I can't say for sure , but probably was done by the network to show that the comedy of Lucy is modern and has lasted since the beginning days of television.
Just my two cents.

Ethan
