I suppose I count myself as one of the lucky ones
having so far survived three forms of cancer,
one only last year!
I still live to tell the tale.

I'm glad you have, Keith. We've grown rather fond of you. Plus, you need to keep the forums straight for us.

All kidding aside, I am glad you are a lucky one. Cancer can be a scary diagnosis, for just the word is scary.

I know what havoc cancer can bring to a family, as I lost my mom to ovarian/uterine cancer a few moths before I turned 14. I had a younger brother who was 8 1/2.

My sister and two other brothers were older (26, 22, and 21), so they were a LITTLE more prepared, but it affected the rest of mine and mine little brother's lives...
