Another thing that helps, is going by a fast food and scarfing down a couple of burgers or burritos just before you go in, so that popcorn isn't so appealing.

Another State that we may move to!

Eight or so years ago this scene was the talk of the message board. Quite a bit of discussion about that Indian taking a breath, in fact those discussions had me looking very close when that rock was moved, and, sure enough, there it was !

On second thought, I'm not saying nuttin.

I might try wearing my Cargo Pants next time out. These have very deep pockets.

Texas is one of the last with lots of people openly being huge Duke fans--bumper stickers, license plates, painted artwork on their cars etc. Im about to get a t-shirt or two made using good Duke images I have from Fort Apache and The Flying Tigers.

I was surprised I would notice somehting but--as soon as the rock was lifted, you couldnt help but noticed that he took a deep breath. Wish I still had such lung power.

How long, Kev. I think it was in Charlotte a bit ago. That is about four hours from you and an hour from me....depending on where you live in Hotlanta. I lived in Brookhaven....ever heard of that? Right off the Capitol City CC. Went to five years of school and graduated from Westminster. Went to Piedmont Hospital Nursing School. Won the Atlanta JR. and Womens' City Golf Championships at Atlanta CC over by the Chatahoochee. Would we have a possiblity of any friends in common? I am sixty two....forgot to see how old you are, LOL! Used to date a sportscaster at WAGA TV...channel FIVE, I think. KPKEITH

It looks like you would have to have gone to Florida or South Carolina (the one theater that had it) to see it; the South really got shut out on this! Bummer.

I just Map-quested it, and it would have been a four-and-a-half hour drive (not sure if that accounts for commute traffic or anything like that). I'm not sure I would have driven that far . . . on second thought, maybe I would.

Yeah, Kevin, I'm bummed out too. Not even in Atlanta, Nashville, Memphis, or New Orleans. Those are within reach, but a long ways. Charlotte is way too far for a movie and a drink. It's over 6 hours away from me. Not to say that the other cities are not far away. Plan to go to Greensboro, NC next month, maybe something close to there in August.

    Cheers

p.s. To comfirm to Carl aka The Ringo Kid, we did have a lengthy discussion on the scene of the indian taking a breath under the rock when he was suppose to be dead. I even looked at it on DVD as to confirm that he did do it. Surprise that Ford let that go by.

I am about an hour and a half from Greensboro. Perhaps we could meet?
